Exploring Hogwarts Castle in Hogwarts Legacy reveals countless hidden secrets, including the optional side quest titled Gobs of Gobstones. Given to players by Ravenclaw student Zenobia Noke in the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower, this activity requires collecting six missing game pieces that disgruntled classmates placed in elevated locations. Finding every piece allows you to complete her request, earn experience points, and unlock a unique wand handle customization.

Starting the Quest and Searching early Wing Locations

To initiate the quest, speak with Zenobia near the staircase in the Defense Against the Dark Arts area. The first stone is situated in the Transfiguration Courtyard, where you can spot it resting high atop an outdoor archway. Casting Revelio helps highlight its exact position, after which you can use Accio to retrieve it.

Navigating the Divination Tower and Central Hall Rafters

The second and third Gobstones require traveling toward the Library Annex near the Divination Classroom Floo Flame. One stone sits on top of the wooden rafters above Central Hall, while another rests directly on the chandelier hanging near the top of the Divination spiral staircase. You can read more about various in-game locations in our gaming guides section to help plan your traversal efficiently.

Exploring Ravenclaw Tower and the Trophy Room

The fourth piece is hidden within the Grand Staircase region, specifically placed on an archway in Ravenclaw Tower. Moving higher up the castle brings you to the last two items in the Trophy Room area. One stone sits above an arch near the outer display corridor, while the final one rests on a high shelf inside the main trophy chamber.

Completing the Task and Claiming Rewards

Once you gather all six Gobstones using your summoning charm, return to Zenobia to decide their fate. You can choose to return the items politely or keep them for yourself, though both choices successfully finish the side quest. Completing this endeavor rewards your character with 180 experience points and a special decorative wand handle.
